Let your AI agent make your Roblox assets

Connect spawnpop to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. Describe a game to your agent and it plans the GUI, icons, thumbnail, 3D props and music, shows the credit price before spending anything, and returns files ready for Roblox Studio.

spawnpop MCP runs on credits. Your first purchase unlocks your key, credits never expire, and failed generations are refunded. See pricing.

How it works

  1. Connect once and copy your key. It is shown a single time.
  2. Add spawnpop to your agent with one command (below).
  3. Ask for assets. The agent plans a kit, you see the price, then it drafts, you approve, and it generates the finals.
  4. The agent places the files in Roblox Studio through Studio's own MCP server.

Add it to your agent

Set the key as an environment variable first. The commands read it from there, so it never lands in a config file you might commit.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http spawnpop https://spawnpop.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer $SPAWNPOP_API_KEY"
Codex CLI
# ~/.codex/config.toml
[mcp_servers.spawnpop]
url = "https://spawnpop.com/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "SPAWNPOP_API_KEY"
Cursor
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "spawnpop": {
      "url": "https://spawnpop.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer ${env:SPAWNPOP_API_KEY}"
      }
    }
  }
}
Claude Desktop
Not supported yet (it needs OAuth sign-in). Use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor for now.

Then add Roblox Studio

  1. In Roblox Studio, open Assistant, then Manage MCP Servers, and enable "Studio as MCP server".
  2. Use Quick connect to add Studio to the same agent that has spawnpop.
  3. Ask your agent for the assets. It plans and prices the kit, makes drafts, and places the finished files in Studio.

Never paste a Roblox API key into your agent chat. If models need Open Cloud, set ROBLOX_API_KEY in your own terminal.

What your agent can call

  • plan_kit: No charge. A game idea in, a priced kit out. Works before you have a key.
  • draft: One credit per draft image, each with an AI fit check.
  • approve: No charge. Pick the drafts that fit; finals are made from them.
  • generate: Final assets. You confirm the exact price first, and a retry never charges twice.
  • get_status: Waits up to 25 seconds for progress, so the agent does not poll.
  • get_files: Signed download links plus the next calls for Roblox Studio.
  • list_projects: Your recent projects.

Credits and safety

  • Every spending call must repeat the exact price you were shown. If the price changed, nothing is charged.
  • If credits run out mid-task the agent gets a payment link for you to open. After you pay it retries the same call.
  • Keys are hashed, can be limited to read-only, and can be revoked in Settings at any time.
  • spawnpop never asks for a Roblox API key. Keep any Roblox key in your own terminal.

A preview sheet and an icon look for your game

When plan_kit lists a themed preview sheet, your agent can include it in the kit: one picture of your game's shop screen, with your item names, prices, BUY buttons and logo, drawn in the same look as the GUI pieces. It is a picture to show, not cut into pieces; the blank pieces stay separate and reusable, and get_files lists the preview sheet first. If plan_kit also lists game icon looks (a 3D avatar scene or a flat cartoon), pass options.iconStyle to generate.
